They are already off and running. She is in GATE (gifted program) so we are always worried about her getting into it on a good foot with a positive attitude. It isn't easy but anything less would bore her to death. I know...bored=behavior issues. They are doing 6th grade work and will end up at close to 8th grade level in math this year...yikes! I better start studying. She LOVES her teacher and is making friends which is a big deal ... David is in there painting the walls right now. The current colors in there are rose and powder blue (it's a Victorian look) but we're changing it to a light yellow and white trim.
